Terms of Service

Last updated September 17, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and ED&EU LTD ("we", "us"), a company registered in the United Kingdom, for using Trailroll. By creating an account you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

Your account

  • You need to be at least 13 years old to use Trailroll.
  • You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Tell us at support@trailroll.app if you think someone else has accessed it.

Your photos

Your photos stay yours. You give us permission to store, resize and display them only as needed to run Trailroll for you. That includes showing them to people you share your map with. This permission ends when you delete the photos or your account.

Only upload photos you have the right to use. Don't upload anything illegal, anything that infringes someone else's rights, or sexual content involving minors. We may remove such content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

Trailroll keeps resized copies, not your original files, so it isn't a backup. Keep your originals somewhere else.

Sharing

When you turn on a public link, anyone who has it can see the trips and photos you didn't hide. They could also save them or pass them on. You're responsible for what you choose to share, including photos of other people. You can turn the link off at any time, which also turns off any embedded copies of your map.

Free plan and Plus

  • The free plan lets you keep up to 500 photos, with no time limit and no card required.
  • Trailroll Plus removes the photo limit. It costs $24.99 a year or $3.99 a month in US dollars. Checkout shows the final price, including any sales tax or VAT, before you pay.
  • Plus renews automatically at the end of each month or year and you're charged the then-current price until you cancel.
  • To cancel, open your account menu on the map and choose Manage subscription. You can also manage it from your Link account. Plus stays active until the end of the period you've paid for and doesn't renew.
  • If Plus ends, your photos stay on your map and you can still view, share and delete them. You can't add new photos while you have more than 500.
  • If we change the price of Plus, we'll tell you at least 30 days before your next renewal. The new price won't apply to the period you've already paid for.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Plus is sold through Stripe Managed Payments, where Stripe's Link service acts as the merchant of record. It takes the payment, collects any sales tax or VAT and sends your receipt. Nothing in these terms limits your right to dispute a charge with your bank.

Refunds

If you're not happy with Plus, email support@trailroll.app within 14 days of your first payment or of a yearly renewal and we'll refund that payment in full. After 14 days, or for monthly renewals, cancelling stops future payments but we don't refund the current period, unless the law requires it or Trailroll didn't work as described. Refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 business days.

This doesn't affect your legal rights as a consumer.

Posters

Posters are coming later. Their price, delivery and returns terms will be shown before you order.

Fair use

Don't misuse Trailroll. That means you must not:

  • try to access other people's accounts or data;
  • disrupt, overload or probe the service for weaknesses;
  • scrape it, resell it or use it to host files unrelated to your travels;
  • hide, cover or change the Trailroll badge and link on an embedded map.

The service

We work to keep Trailroll available and your photos safe, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve or change features. If we make a change that significantly reduces what Plus gives you, you can cancel and get a refund for the unused part of your paid period.

If we ever shut Trailroll down, we'll give you at least 60 days' notice and refund any unused part of a paid period.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Trailroll at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Where it's reasonable, we'll warn you first.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that can't be limited by law. Apart from that, we aren't liable for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for business losses, since Trailroll is for personal use. Our total liability to you is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or £50.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For changes that affect you, we'll give notice in the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel Plus and stop using Trailroll before then.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you can bring a claim in your local courts. If you live in another country, you keep the protections of its consumer law. Please contact us first. Most problems can be solved by email. See also our Privacy Policy.
